EFN is a registered charity in England and Wales. Your support helps us mentor young people into engineering, share knowledge between the UK and Nigeria, and influence how engineering develops in Nigeria.

What your support makes possible

One bridge, four strands of work.

EFN exists to influence the development of engineering in Nigeria, and to open engineering to young people in the UK. This is the work your support sustains.

    Mentoring young engineers

    EFN Ambassadors mentor young people from Black and ethnic minority groups and raise awareness of careers in engineering.

    Sharing knowledge

    Conferences, seminars and technical site visits bring engineers, investors and policymakers into the same room.

    Building capacity in Nigeria

    Helping new methods and technology reach Nigeria, where young engineers are eager to train to international standards.

    In practice We work with NSE and COREN, and run the UK route to both.
